Yuvtarang: The Annual Cultural Fest

Main Campus | February

The cultural pulse of IAGI, Yuvtarang, is where students bring their talents to the spotlight. From music and fashion to drama and dance, this intercollegiate festival turns campus into a stage for bold performances and boundless expression.

Spectrum

October-November

Spectrum, the Indian Academy Degree College (Autonomous) annual fest is a vibrant mix of Sahithya, Samskruthika, and Sambramha. From off-stage contests like rangoli, mehndi, street plays, and video making to on-stage performances in dance, music, mime, and fashion, the fest gives students a lively platform to showcase creativity, teamwork, and leadership in true IAGI spirit.

Organized by the Student Welfare Officers and the ever-energetic Student Council, with wholehearted support from the management, Spectrum celebrates not just talent but also camaraderie and cultural pride.

Freshers’ Week

July-August

An energetic welcome to first-year students with fun games, talent showcases, and the crowning of Mr. and Ms. Fresher. It’s where friendships spark and memories begin.

National Days: Independence Day, Republic Day & Gandhi Jayanti

Ceremonial flag hoisting, cultural tributes, and spirited performances mark these important days during which we reflect on responsibility, leadership, and service to the nation.

Talent Week

Institution-wide

An open platform for students to showcase creativity in music, visual arts, drama, spoken word, and more. It celebrates individuality and encourages students to be seen and heard.

IAGI Sports Meet

Our flagship sporting event brings the houses together in friendly competition, featuring track events, cricket, football, volleyball, and more. With podium moments and team spirit, it’s the perfect mix of passion and perseverance.

Inter-Department Tournament

Year-Round

The houses run their own leagues in sports like kabaddi, throwball, basketball, and indoor games, keeping energy levels high and students engaged throughout the year.

Fit India / Yoga Day

Campus Grounds | June 21

Aligned with the national movement, this day features guided yoga sessions, fitness challenges, and wellness talks supporting both physical and mental well-being.
