The Industry Partnership Committee at IA School of Management Studies (IASMS) provides a dynamic, hands-on learning environment where students can explore and develop their professional potential through direct engagement with industry partners. The committee encourages innovation and supports students in transforming their academic knowledge into practical, sustainable career opportunities.
As a student-driven body, the committee takes the lead in organising corporate collaboration, live projects, and other initiatives that nurture creativity, strategic thinking, and leadership.
Research lies at the core of IASMS’s academic mission. As a management institution, we believe that research not only shapes the thinking of our MBA students and faculty but also advances the body of knowledge that informs our classrooms.
Research activities at IASMS aim to generate new insights, enhance existing knowledge, and build practical skills. The Research Committee plays a key role in fostering and facilitating research and development initiatives among both students and faculty. Beyond research, the committee also promotes participation in seminars, workshops, and conferences organized by management institutes at the state, national, and international levels. Regular invited talks and interactions with academicians and industry experts further help cultivate research interest across the campus.
IASMS provides ample resources to nurture a research culture, most notably, a fully automated library with extensive learning and reference materials, including research journals, e-journals, and project reports from past students.
The Research Committee has also extended its outreach to the wider academic community through the IASMS Journal of Business Spectrum, a bi-annual, peer-reviewed publication (ISSN: 0974–8016).
The Research Committee aims to enhance the research profile of the institution by fostering a dynamic and supportive research environment. Through workshops, seminars, and mentorship initiatives, the committee encourages both faculty and students to engage in meaningful, high-quality research.
